Once a month for five years, we selected 4 music acts to record a 30 minute concert for later airing during the last half hour of the Local Roots radio show. We often select these previously recorded concerts for airplay on the Local Roots radio show. We recorded more than 300 concerts for airing on the Local Roots radio show. Musicians received a copy of the recorded concert for their own use, which they often turned into singles or live albums.
Other Local Roots events throughout the year include: Local Roots Music Festival, Songwriters in the Round, Bob Dylan Tribute Show, and our Local Roots Song Contest.
